With years of experience in honing tube manufacturing, we deliver customer satisfaction through both manufacturing and customization.
At Bos, we care about you and your company. We specialize in honing tube customization, material selection, and manufacturing, and we offer superior service tailored to your needs.

The honing and cold-drawing processes ensure tight tolerances on the inside diameter, straightness, and roundness along the entire length of the tube . This precision guarantees perfect alignment for pistons, eliminating the risk of premature wear, side-loading, and seal failure. When you specify a tube with an H8 or H7 tolerance, you are investing in predictable performance and simplified assembly .
Perhaps the most significant feature is the outstanding corrosion resistance imparted by the stainless steel material. Whether your equipment operates in humid environments, is exposed to corrosive chemicals, or must meet stringent hygiene standards in food and beverage processing, our Stainless Steel Honed Tubes provide a robust defense against rust and degradation . This inherent resistance ensures long-term structural integrity and reliability, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Combined with high tensile strength and excellent pressure-bearing capacity, our tubes form a dependable backbone for high-performance systems, from heavy-duty industrial presses to sophisticated automation equipment.

Understanding that engineering challenges vary, we offer a range of Stainless Steel Honed Tubes to meet specific application needs. Our standard portfolio includes products tailored for diverse requirements.
For applications demanding the highest level of structural integrity and pressure resistance, we offer Precision Seamless Honed Tubes. These tubes are manufactured by piercing a solid billet, resulting in a homogenous grain structure with no inherent seam, making them the preferred choice for high-pressure hydraulic systems .
We also provide Welded and Cold-Drawn Honed Tubes, which begin as a rolled and welded strip before being cold-drawn and honed. This process, often referred to as Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM), delivers a high-precision tube with excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy, representing a cost-effective solution for many pneumatic and medium-duty hydraulic applications.

Honed tubes are finished using abrasive stones that create a precise, cross-hatched surface, while SRB tubes are processed using a cutting tool (skiving) followed by a burnishing roller. Honed tubes generally provide better surface finish and straightness, while SRB tubes can be more cost-effective for certain applications.
